Highland Park Elementary School reopens library after pipe burst floods floors
Repairs and renovations can be tough, especially for those working and learning in an elementary school. But thanks to the quick action and fast repairs, Highland Park Elementary School soon had its library back in order.
The Upper Darby School District elementary school found itself without its favorite “book nook” after a burst pipe destroyed its floors with flooding. The library, however, was reopened on Jan. 7 after repairs.
“[We] are appreciative for the facilities department and central administration’s quick response at the time of the incident,” said a post from the school on Facebook.
The re-opening celebration was complete with a red-ribbon cutting for excited onlooking students.
