A Delaware County board that oversees services to the disabled needs members

The Delaware County Mental Health/Intellectual and Development Disabilities Advisory Board is seeking two new members.
The board advises, reviews, evaluates, recommends and advocates for actions related to mental health and intellectual/developmental disability treatment services, and delivery, according to the county.
“The board advises and reviews the County’s delivery of services related to mental health and intellectual/developmental disabilities,” said George Basile, a deputy county spokesman.
“We count on these board members to ensure that Delco remains an inclusive and accessible home for all.”
Applicants should provide their name, address, contact information, current employer, and occupation, along with a brief explanation of why they are interested in serving on this board.
The deadline to apply is April 17 and the term is for three years. For more information and to submit an application click here.
